Spent most of today researching for conservation assignment. Going to Mt Helen for library excursion tomorrow. Band rehersals tonight and Sunday so hope to get back to info lit on Monday. Had another play on flickr, looked at library cards it gave me insight into what other people are doing in their jobs.

The list of your fellow students' blogs heads up your blog... so I think that your blog list gadget is situated in the blog header rather than the sidebar. You might like to go into your Dashboard, and review its layout - in the Layout of Page Elements, you should be able to grab the gadget and just shift it to the sidebar. There is more information at Blogger Help
When I did the conservation unit I collected resources I found useful under a delicious tag for CULMS009a.
I also used the books:
A guide to the preventive conservation of photograph collections;
Keep it for the future: how to set up small community archives; and
Preservation management for libraries, archives and museums.

I play alto sax in a concert band, only small, about 20 members. We are playing in a competition on 18 June, the night before my next unit starts. So as usual I will be brain dead in class the next day.
